“What a severe yet master artist old Winter is. No longer the canvas and the pigments, but the marble and the chisel.” --John Burroughs

Chiseling something new from the marble of old Winter is Colorado menswear designer Ninox. Launching their first collection in autumn of 2014 from the headquarters in Boulder, Ninox combines luxury and performance fabrics with simple modern design to connect outdoors worthy clothing to metropolitan everyday life. No better piece encapsulates this idea then this “Bennet” field jacket with swiss made wool bonded fleece.

Starting this winter you can find a great new selection of Steven Alan optical, both sunglasses and prescription frames at Armitage & McMillan. I love the rubberized tortoise frame on this pair “Levit” sunglasses. It’s extremely comfortable, rugged enough for both mountain and city sportiness, but highly stylized at the same time.ArmitageMcMillanDraft-9

You can always count on a fresh bank of poplin button ups at Armitage & Mcmillan. Every guy should have a few for each season. This olive and brown camo print from Saturdays Surf NYC brings feels so at home in the urban winter landscape and pairs great against black jackets and blue denims.
