Metrosexual Fashion with Cheri Anderson

For as long as I can remember my little brother has always been a looker. He got the looks and I got the brains – what, I have to say something good about myself, right?! Seriously, since he was just a little tot he's worked it. The girls would flock. The more they flocked, the more he took interest in his appearance. Designer jeans, sneakers – well, designer everything! It was always intriguiging to me as much as it was strange. I just didn't get spending an entire paycheck on a pair of jeans that had the “right” label on them. To be completely honest, I still don't. But for him, it worked and it made him happy. And as some of you know, I am a firm believer in doing what makes you happy.
It wasn't until recent years when a friend of mine called my brother a metrosexual that I even heard of that word. Well, it turns out that exactly what he is. According to Wikipedia, the definition of a metrosexual is: "A portmanteau, derived from metropolotan and sexual, coined in 1994 describing a man (especially one living in an urban, post-industrial, capitalist culture) who is especially meticulous about his grooming and appearance, typically spending a significant amount of time and money on shopping as part of this."
His latest trends include designer jeans (I'm pretty sure this one has never changed) designer t-shirts and an array of trendy brand name sneakers. As for accessories, a belt, watch, sunglasses and whatever do he feels like donning is a must. And yes, all with a designer tag. But as I said before, this is what makes him happy and works for him; so I say, keep on doing your thing and making those designers richer :)
