Intern Diaries: Family Field Trip
This past Thursday the Denver Style Magazine team had the opportunity to go and tour the brand new Sherlock Holmes exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The exhibit is very interactive and great for both kids and adults alike. In the beginning of the exhibit you learn a little about Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and his inspiration for the Sherlock Holmes stories. Then you move on to the London Underground where you meet towns people, learn morse code, and even learn about old time cosmetics!
After you move past the London Underground you go to 22 Baker Street and entire an interactive crime scene. There you hear Sherlock Holmes theory on the crime, examine and test all of the evidence, create your own theory on what happened and then find out if you were right. Chances are, you won't be right.
I highly recommend this exhibit to anyone who loves Sherlock Holmes or solving puzzles. Or both. I can honestly say this is one of my favorite of all of the traveling exhibits that the museum hosts. The exhibit will be at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science through January.
Below are some (not professional) photos of our time in the exhibit.
