Brandy's Fall Picks

I can't believe I am actually writing this post right now. It feels as if the summer just began, but fall is only a month away and it's time to update those closets. There are many fall fashion trends, but I am showing you my favorites from our local Denver boutiques.

Layering Tanks

I, personally, own this tank top from Inspire boutique. I love it so much! It's perfect for those warm fall days, but thin enough to layer under those cable knit sweaters.

Chunky Heels

I couldn't be happier with the popularity of chunky heels. Not only are they incredibly comfy, they give your outfit that sleek touch. I found these boots at Sous le lit and am infatuated with the worn leather look and stacked heel. Did I mention they are hand made?

Split Side Tops

These tops are so cute and breezy. This top in particular from Meraki Moon is perfect. It has a ribbed texture and extra length that would look trendy with any pair of jeans and fall booties. Plus, heather grey is a staple color for your fall wardrobe.

Dusters

A good coat can complete an outfit and keep the back of your legs warm during our chilly fall nights. This duster from Rustic Thread can be worn casually or thrown over your cocktail dress on a night out. And the best part, it has side pockets to store those numerous sticks of lip balm. Those of you Colorado natives know what I'm talking about.

Minimalistic Jewelry

During the fall, you layer and clothing can become annoying at some points. Why add stress with bulky jewelry? This piece from Mildred+Bernice is gorgeous! It doubles as a necklace and a bracelet. Pieces like this are so much fun because you can layer them with other jewelry and get creative with it.

I hope you all love these trends as much as I do. Denver has so many amazing boutiques and talent. Don't ever hesitate to visit your local shops before heading to the mall for new clothing.

Sincerely,
