Clothes should get better the more we wear them. They should enable you to be in the moment, not define it. No one understands this better than Daniel Armitage and Darin Combs of Armitage & McMillan boutique in Denver, CO.

Brooklyn based brand The Hill-Side received honors from GQ in 2015 as one of the best new menswear designers in America. The brand features classic menswear garments made from working class fabrics that pull off the holy paradox of being understatedly modern yet elegantly classic. Inside Armitage & McMillan is the only place in Denver you can find it.ArmitageMcMillanDraft-6 Juxtapose a crisp white fitted shirt with less traditional and textured fabrics found in this duck canvas blazer and wool/cotton blanket stripe tie. It mixes different flavors together into one bite that brings out a well-crafted personality to a slightly dressier look.

My hands down favorite item in the store is this porcelain ceramic coffee mug. It just looks and feels like it wants to be taken on every adventure possible from the everyday to extraordinary with the blissful loyalty of a golden retriever. Best part of all, it’s hand made locally by Sarah Veak of Veak Ceramics in Denver, CO.

Finish the look with a great pair of selvage jeans and these killer off-white PF Flyer and Brooklyn Circus collaboration sneakers to add a little attitude. Ok, so the shoes and the mug are probably tied at the top.
